Violin Soloist, Charlie Lovell-Jones
Charlie Lovell-Jones debuted at a sold-out Royal Festival Hall aged 15. An international soloist and critically-acclaimed concertmaster of the Sinfonia of London, he won top prizes at Oxford University and the Royal Academy of Music. He studied for eleven years with Rodney Friend MBE, and currently learns with Augustin Hadelich at the Yale School of Music. He has many competition successes, and enjoys a busy international concert and recording schedule. He treasures opportunities to connect with audiences, and enjoys exploring classical music’s 21st-Century capabilities. Charlie plays a fine 1777 G.B. Guadagnini violin on loan from a generous benefactor.
